The Redneck games had a slow start, but by 7 o’clock the rodeo stadium was over filled with people. There were five teams that competed in several various challenges. These challenges include; a hay barrel stacking were they had to stack barrels of hay onto a flat bed truck.

The next competition was the egg relay, were the redneck athletes had to balance an egg on a spoon, and walk nearly twenty-five feet.

After the egg relay the teams had to drive two steel fence poles two feet into the ground, and then carry an irrigation pipe twenty-five feet plus bring the irrigation equipment back.

The final two events required great strength and stamina. The competitors had to role a tractor tire twenty-five feet, and then go on a full sprint for over 150 feet.

At the end of the event one team were victorious, the swamp crackers were the fastest team to complete the course and were awarded as the redneck champions.

Everyone had a great time who came out and there were free refreshments available for the crowd. It was a great family event, full of fun and excitement, and truly showed off  that ABAC has many events for appealing to almost every student going to ABAC.
