While Satoru Iwata may have passed away, games are coming up that Nintendo fans can play in honor of his memory.
Super Mario Maker is coming out on Friday, Sep. 11. It is for the WiiU and it is a one player game.
This game lets the player take the graphics of the many Mario games from the original Mario Brothers to Super Mario 3D World and create their own courses for players to enjoy as well as play.
Yoshi’s Woolly World will be released Oct. 16 and will be two-player simultaneous play. This will also come out for the WiiU.
This game uses the idea of yarn and knitting, similarly to Kirby’s Epic Yarn, to help Yoshi explore stages and defeat enemies. This game plays like the newer Mario Brothers games.
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will be released Oct. 23 for the Nintendo 3DS. This game is single-player as well as multiplayer.
This game uses the visuals similar to Wind Waker and A Link Between Worlds while using the gameplay and ideas from Four Swords Adventures, where players needed to work together to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.
Star Fox Zero will be released sometime during the final three months of this year. This game will be for WiiU and will be available for multiplayer and single-player.
This game follows the similar style of Star Fox 64 where the player can be Fox McCloud and work side by side with his teammates Falco, Peppy and Slippy.
Some of the newer things to come with this game are the Walker transformation where the player can walk freely on platforms and the Gyrowing, a helicopter that can enter small spaces and hack into different computers.
These are some of the major Nintendo releases to look forward to as well as honor the passing of Satoru Iwata.
