This month at ABAC, students and educators are learning their new schedules and adjusting to new people that are in their environment. With all this adapting, some students are trying to see how far they can bend the rules without any consequences.
In August, there were over 60 reports filed by the ABAC Police. The majority of arrests made on campus this month were caused by alcohol and traffic violations. These reports included the following:
—Curtis L. Jones was arrested on Aug.16 for two counts of simple battery, one count of public intoxication and willfully obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers.
—Joshua E. Mullis was arrested on Aug. 16 on a charge of possession of alcohol by an underage person.
—Jamal H. Hunter was cleared with a ban notice to ABAC and UGA property due to a charge of criminal trespassing on Aug. 17.
—Zachary D. Adams was arrested the night of Aug. 18 and charged with possession of alcohol by an underage person.
—Shelby B. Nettleton was charged with possession of alcohol by an underage person on Aug. 23.
—Joseph D. Branch was arrested on Aug. 23 on a charge of possession of alcohol by an underage person.
