Last Saturday, ABAC was the proud host of the Georgia Angus Association’s fall seminar.
This seminar was geared towards targeting cattle producers in Georgia and surrounding areas. The event was free to all GAA members and commercial cattlemen. Several guest speakers, an industry trade show and an ABAC Beef Unit tour and lunch were scheduled to take place during the day.
The seminar began at 9 a.m. and concluded after lunch. Many staff members and students from the school of Ag & Natural Resources were able to attend. The ABAC Cattlemen’s Association helped to facilitate the event.
This event was a great learning opportunity for the students involved, especially those who hope to one day hold a job in the cattle industry.
